PriceLite® is Charah’s top of the line lightweight aggregate used primarily in the production of lightweight concrete blocks and precast concrete products.
At an average unit weight of only 43-pounds/cubic foot, customers can reap the benefits of purchasing more volume for their tonnage buck.
Charah understands the needs of concrete products producers and we take great pride in the quality and consistency of our PriceLite® product. Our quality control is second to none with routine testing of gradations and unit weights continuously throughout each shift at each processing location.
PriceLite® is ASTM C330 & C331 certified, meeting or exceeding ASTM standards for clay lumps and friable particles, organic impurities, unit weight, stain test and loss on ignition (see chart below). PriceLite is a recycled material and does qualify for LEED’s.
