Charah, Inc. Named to Business First of Louisville’s “Fast 50”

Company Ranked 11th Fastest-Growing Privately Held Company in Greater Louisville Area

LOUISVILLE, KY (October 24, 2008) – Charah®, Inc., a leading ash management provider for the coal-fired electric utility industry, has been named the 11th fastest growing privately owned company in Greater Louisville by Business First of Louisville. This is the first year Charah has been included on this list.

The Fast 50 companies are independent, for-profit and privately held; have an average of at least $1 million in revenue for the three most recent years; are headquartered in Bullitt, Henry, Jefferson, Meade, Nelson, Oldham, Shelby, Spencer or Trimble counties in Kentucky, or Clark, Floyd, Harrison or Washington counties in Indiana; and have a three-year operating sales history. Charah was recognized during Business First’s Fast 50 Awards Luncheon.
