(NYSE: CHRA) (the “Company”), a leading provider of environmental and maintenance services to the power generation industry, announced today that it was recognized by the Coalition for Construction Safety (CCS) during their 26th Anniversary and Awards Celebration on April 25, 2019 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Charah Solutions was one of fourteen companies to receive a Safety Achievement Award. From these recipients, Charah Solutions was one of five companies awarded a Safety Leader Award.
Charah Solutions’ award submission focused on the Company’s proprietary Basin Excavation Strategies Training (BEST), an 8-hour program which trains Charah Solutions employees, customers, and vendors on the processes for safely and successfully managing and conducting operations in ash ponds and impoundments. As part of the program, classroom training is further supported by continuous field training.
