The U.S. Senate has officially confirmed Andrew Wheeler as EPA Administrator.
Wheeler served as Assistant Admi
nistrator since July 2018 and previously was a lobbyist for Xcel Energy, a renewable energy focused utility as well as Murray Energy, a coal industry company, among other Wheeler clients during his lobbyist career. Mr. Wheeler also has worked inside the EPA staff and on Capitol Hill prior to returning to EPA as Assistant Administrator. Mr. Wheeler brings a tremendous amount of experience to his new role.
