LOUISVILLE, KY (September 23, 2014) – Charah®, Inc., a total solutions company providing unparalleled service and innovation for the coal-fired electric utility industry, announced today that Scott Ziegler has joined the team as Vice President, Ash Sales and Marketing, as of September 8, 2014. He is based in Bradenton, Florida and is responsible for overseeing Charah’s fly ash sales and marketing efforts in existing markets and for developing new markets.
Mr. Ziegler has more than 15 years of experience in fly ash sales and the cement industry. He has a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering from Mississippi State University and a bachelor of arts degree in liberal arts from Northwestern State University. Mr. Ziegler is a board member of the American Coal Ash Association (ACAA) and a member of the American Coal Council (ACC), the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) and the Tampa Port Authority Executive Shippers’ Council.
