Charah Inc. Named to Business First of Louisville Fast 50

Company Ranked 10th Fastest-Growing Privately Held Company in Greater Louisville Area

LOUISVILLE, KY (October 31, 2011) – Charah®, Inc., a leading ash management provider for the coal-fired electric utility industry, has been named the 10th fastest-growing privately owned company in Greater Louisville by Business First of Louisville. This is the fourth consecutive year Charah has been included on this list: the company was ranked 11th in 2008, 3rd in 2009 and 2nd in 2010.

The Fast 50 companies are independent, for-profit and privately held; have an average of at least $1 million in revenue for the three most recent years; are headquartered in Bullitt, Henry, Jefferson, Meade, Nelson, Oldham, Shelby, Spencer or Trimble counties in Kentucky, or Clark, Floyd, Harrison or Washington counties in Indiana; and have a three-year operating sales history.
