LOUISVILLE, KY (August 14, 2020) – Charah® Solutions, Inc. (NYSE: CHRA) (the “Company”), a leading provider of environmental and maintenance services to the power generation industry, today announced that it has made monetary donations to five regional food banks in communities where it operates in the wake of the coronavirus crisis. The Company donated funds to the following food banks:

Dare To Care in Louisville, KY
Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina in Charlotte, NC
Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank in Baton Rouge, LA
Mexico Food Pantry in Mexico, NY

Food banks across the country are facing increased demand as a result of the coronavirus crisis. At the same time food donations from groceries, restaurants and farms have declined since many no longer have extra food to provide.

We as a company need to make sure that we give back and help those in need.”

In addition, Charah Solutions employees have been encouraged to participate in the food bank donations. All employee donations made through the Company’s “Charah Cares” program will be matched by Charah Solutions.
